Do we also define Loading time just like Ship point? Where?

Hi,

Loading time will be maintained in LE>Shipping>Scheduling-->Define Scehduling by shipping point

You have the following options:

No Time

u2022 A Route-dependent

u2022 B Route-independent

u2022 C Default from shipping point

Loading time is either maintained for a shipping point in OVLZ or it is maintained for a combination of Shipping point + Route + Loading group in the path IMG - LE - Shipping - Basic shipping fn. - Scheduling - Delivery scheduling - Maintain duration.

Dear Siddhant,

Loading time will get determine based on the settings maintained in the shipping point detail screen.

Go to OVXD transaction select your shipping point then go in to the details of that here you can find the field Determine Load. Time under Determine Times Tab ,this field settings will control the determination of the load time.

Hi,

In Enterprise structure first you Define your Shipping Point.

Save.

Select your Shipping point and go to details Icon and enter the time.

In img-enterprise structuredefinition-logistics execution-----shipping pt

Here you choose your shipping pt and click on the details(blue lens on top)

Here you will give loading time and pick/pack time

Here determine load time and pick/pack time give as C for your shipping pt

The moment you choose the key as C an extra tab will open which you can specify the no of days

The loading time is defined as no of days like that and it is taken from shipping pt for delivery scheduling

But I've one more issue. My testing client is giving Confirmed del date 7 days in future, whereas I've sufficient stock on the current date. What can be the reason & how can I bring confirmed delivery date to today?

Check 2 things:

1) if the quantities are already reserved by any other SO or delivery.

2) Check if you have activated delivery scheduling. The lead times maybe are getting considered as per the times maintained in OVLZ.

"Loading time" and "Pick/pack time" is specified for respective Shipping points.
