Delivery Issue.

Hi Experts,

I have one doubt in SD side,for suppose one company implement SD Module,delivery compulsory or SD implementation point no need delivery.can u share with me with detailed explanation.....

Dear Rajen

Wherever there is physical movement of goods involved, delivery is mandatory. Otherwise, it is not necessary.

For example, if you are providing a consulting service where there is no physical movement of goods, only sale order related billing is enough. For all manufacturing industries, delivery is a MUST

Hi Friend

Since you are speaking regarding SD module it means there is sale taking place and it needs to be accounted. Also SD cannot be implemented w/o FI and CO being implemented. so there has to be integration with Finance. Unless and until you have delivery document you cannot integrate it with FI so there has to be Delivery.
