If i have to connect older version of systems like 45B and 46B system as a satellite sytem to solution manager what are the pre-requisite components required on these system.
Thank you for quick reply, do we have any document stating the steps needed to be followed to add those systems as satellite sytems or the note, it would be of great help because i need to document all these and submit to client.

Check that the required service packages are in the satellite systems (menu: System -> Status)

get data for Solution Monitoring in the satellite systems. From Add-On ST-PI version 2005_1_<release> SP01, the RFC back connection from the satellite system to the Solution Manager for data capture, is created automatically. In previous releases, you must enter this RFC back connection manually.
put PFCG roles from the satellite systems into project structures (from Add-On ST-PI Version 2005_1_<release>SP03)
SAP note 539977 contains the release strategy for ST-PI
ST-A/PI:
ST-A/PI is required in the satellite to be able to deliver support services. The ST-A/PI is in SAP note 69455. See SAP note 560630 if your satellite systems do not satisfy the requirements.
