Dear All,
The release has to be at least NW04 6.40 SP12 . How to check which release and SP we are working .
Thanks
Hi ,
To check release & SP level for ABAP system
- Login into the ABAP system
- Navigate to system menu > Status
- Click on magnifying glass icon under SAP system data
- it will show all the installed components release & version information
To check release & SP level for Java system
- navigate to following URL
http://<hostname>:5<system number>00/
- navigate to System Information
OR
http://<host>:5<system instance number>00/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo
- version column will contain both the information.
I hope the provided information will help you.

How I can check which netweaver version we are using ?
In http://<hostname>:50100/ -- system info
one instance JC00
one dispatcher
And three servers -- server 0 , server 1, server 2 is showing . there three servers are for what ?
I have installed java add on at ABAP stack on mySAP ECC5 . I am trying to use http://<hostname>:50100/nwa - for netweaver administrator , the minimum system requirment is
SAP NetWeaver 6.40 SP12 . Means I have to update both paches for ABAP and JAVA (current patch level is SP09) .
I know how to update abap patch but how I can update java patch in my present system . JSPM do not works in SAP 6.40 . how to update it through SDM ?
I have downloaded
SAP J2EE ENGINE 6.40 -
A. OS independent and Windows Server on IA32 32bit - SP10, SP11, SP12
B. SAP J2EE ENGINE CORE 6.40 - no patch is available at service market place.
Pl. advice .
My motto is to run /nwa ( netweaver administrator ) .
Sorry for poor english .
Thanks
Sandy
Hi Sandy,
Please download all the required Support Packages from Service Marketplace.
Navigate to following folder structure to start SDM, for deployment :
\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\SDM\program
run StartServer.bat file
then RemoteGUI.bat file in same folder.
Will open the SDM, login into with Admin user.
Navigate to Deployment Tab.
Click the icon for adding SDA/SCA files for deployment.
Then click on Next & Finish. Deployment is done.
I hope this will help.
Also refer to some already available threads in SDN for this information.
