ADS install in Solution Manager

Hi!

I noticed in ECC 6.0 master guide that we can run ADS as a central/shared service, and for this I thought Solution Manager. As far as I know there's no contras on this, but from SAP support point of view any of you got a similar scenario?

At this moment the ecc instalation is not unicode neither the SM, but SM can be easily and fast converted to Unicode.

I've configured the ADS on Solution Manager.

We are doing the same for development/tests (as SOLMAN is most "lazy" system).

But for productive usage it is obviously not recommended (for the reasons of performance, ease of maintenance and security) and you better use separate system for that. It turns out that at least two ADS instances are needed for common landscape.
