Alerts using CCMS

Hi i am struck up in alerts.

we want to implement CCMS for ALM.In our current scenario We have around 20 Supplier Systems (SRM) and more than 400 suppliers systems (NON SAP).

Ex if there is an error from Supplier1 to SRM1, then the alert has to be triggreed.i got few blogs reg the configuration of itand using .

But main problem is do, we need to configure the 400 + suppliers for the alerts statically. dont we have a dynamic mechanism to configure the same setting for all the suppliers dynamically.

Hi Chandra,

When your CCMS is not configured you can only do individual monitoring.

To configure the same you must decide which system is to be the central system for the SCR.

After doing the same please follow these steps.

Log on to the system that is to contain the central repository.

- Choose CCMS ® Configuration ® Alert Monitor, or call transaction RZ21.

- Choose Technical Infrastructure ® System Repository ® Set Repository Role.

- The system displays the Set Repository Role in Central System Administration screen. Choose Central Repository.

Hi Chandra,

Just my thought, can you create a group email id and add all your suppliers to that, so that alert will be sent to everybody.
