APO - DP Key Figures

APO has key figures that exists in them called corrected forecast. These corrected forecast key figures are quantity key figures. We are doing our planning by Quantity and by Amount and need to get corrected forecast key figures for the Amount. We have created new Key Figures for them and add them to the planning book....but we are not getting data.

A consultant created our original planning book and we are not sure if there is somewhere that you need to link these to the DP to get them to accept data.

Can someone assist us?

You need to assign the amount KF, In the planning area config - extras - forecast settings.

We completed the addition of the key figure to the planning area as was suggested in the last reply but now we are looking to map it to one of the key figures for corrected forecast amount. We have a bunch of papers that tell you to do the mapping in customizing but we cannot find where this mapping needs to happen. Can anyone assist?

This is a key figure that we created and is not standard content. We are working on forecast by dollars not Qty.

Not sure if you have the authorization. from the interactive planning view.. go to design mode. click on edit planning book icon. go to the key figures tab for the dataview being used. .pull out some key figure that is not/never used before.. am sure there would be some key figure unused.. whatever be the key fig type..

Now write a macro result on to this key figure if you are sure of the how the qty key figure that you already have converts to an amount. Take precasutions on agg/disagg types maintained in the planning area. You can use this key figure result as an input to some other macro or even a forecast profile.

In case there is no free kye fig available create a new one... you need to start the cycle all again to include thi key fig in the planning area. Refer the building block for DP configuration.
