Parameter in the Application URL

Hi Gurus,

I have created an importing parameter EMP_ID to the HANDLEDEFAULT event of the DEFAULT plug of the main window window. But I cannot see the Parameter EMP_ID build in the URL.. Am I missing onto something.. Coz i need to pass a value to this parameter in the URL. When I execute this application there is a dump for "The ASSERT condition was violated". Please guide me.

Thanks,

Smita

Hi Smita,

To put in simple terms, the URL call should be somthing like this:

http://appserverurl:800000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zexer19?sap-client=040&sap-language=EN&name=Prosenji...

here name is my URL newly added parameter in the application.

You can add new parameters in the WDA, for that go to WDA, there under parameters tab add your parameters.

Hope it is clear.

Good day!

Hi Smitha,

Please check once whether you are passing the value via application URL or not.

You have to supply the parameters to it at the same time when you invoke the url.
