Deleting users from the system using Access Enforcer

Hello

Is there a way to delete a set of users from SAP systems, using access enforcer?

Today we do not have SAP HR, and cannot use the HR triggers in Access Enforcer, to remove users.

Can we do it manually by placing a ticket, instead of using HR triggers?

Any help on this, will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have read a few forum posts that said,

1. Place an AE request to delete a user

2. Copy this for multiple users

Can someone tell me, how i can place an AE request to 'delete a user'.

Currently we only add roles, remove roles from a user.

Thanks

Hi Prakash,

One of the standard request type is delete account, use this to delete account. I've done it, below is the audit trail.

Request 34 Submitted by AE_REQUESTOR(AE_REQUESTOR) on 04/15/2008 18:31

Request submitted for approval by TestEE Payroll 98(a5c) on 04/15/2008 18:32

Approved By TestEE Payroll 98(a5c) Path ROLEDELETE and Stage MANAGERAPPROVAL on 04/15/2008 18:32

Request submitted for approval by TestEE Payroll 98(a5c) on 04/15/2008 18:33

Approved By TestEE Payroll 98(a5c) Path ROLEDELETE and Stage SECURITY on 04/15/2008 18:33

Auto provisioned for request on 04/15/2008 18:33

Hi Prakash,

To delete multiple users I doubt you may need to raise separate requests, but once you created one delete request you may copy and change the userid's for all other ID's which are subjected to delete.

1. Using Request Type we can configure 'Delete_User' and 'Lock_User' actions in AE

2. We can use Copy, Multiuser to do bulk lock or deleting of users.

Thanks a lot for the answer.

It works now.
