What are the target points for the badge in 2009?

Point 1: Behave like a good forum member.

Point 2: Read the rules.

Point 3: Obey the rules.

Point 4: Don't bother about points, bother about helping people.

Point 5: Set learning by helping as your target.

Now I am really curious about the reasoning behind this question.

Are you going to change your posting rate/behaviour solely based

on incentives like a badge? I wouldn't bother.

Sir,

Now I am really curious about the reasoning behind this question.
Are you going to change your posting rate/behavior solely based on
incentives like a badge? I wouldn't bother.

1. Why, can't it be the motivating factor for some one whose posting rate is as mine!!!

2. What if I ask you to furnish me the reason for your so called curiosity.

(Kindly consider the same reasoning that you think for your curiosity, behind my question also)

3. Sir, pls dont' ignore any small guy, each small guy becomes big some day.

4. Pls let me know if you have any further curiosity regarding my any question.

All that Jurjen is trying to say is that, will you contribute to the forums, only if you get rewarded?

Does helping somebody in need, is in no way rewarding enough? Would the nature of rewards decide your amount of contributions?

Basically I think helping people should be the main motivating factor.

Although I like all appreciation very much, I still cannot understand people who ask for/about it.

Appreciation in my opinion is like a gift, a present, not something you're entitled to.

I began small, as we all did. Ignorance is not the case here. But seeing your statistics

it looked like someone who's starting to walk asking about running trophies. No personal offence meant.

> 4. Pls let me know if you have any further curiosity regarding my any question.

Nah, I think that's about it.

Happy posting!

Not in my culture. Far too wordy.

How about not leaving a response when marking a question as answered!

I would like a badge with a simple sentence: "I did the needful!"
