delete old messages

Hi,

Please suggest how to go about deleting old xml messages from sxmb_moni, to free up some memory??(lets say messages that was processed in 2007 or something like that). I have gone to sxmb_adm and tried the option but not working. Most of the search in forum results in this document below but i did not get it n found not so useful for what I am looking for.

Hi,

Check out this latest blog on archiving and deletion in PI /people/daniel.graversen/blog/2009/01/14/deletion-and-archiving-in-pi

and check the threads

Dont forget to select the interfaces for archiving in SXMB_ADMIN and also reduce the Retention period.

Try to run the report RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES .

And also check for the following notes:

SAP Notes: 872388, 820149, 712253
