APO Stock Transfer Reservations

APO Stock Transfer Reservations are being created with the movement type 301 (plant to plant).

Is it possible to create these reservations in APO with the movement type 311 (sloc to sloc) without a development ?

Hi Guy Hall,

As APO uses purely the master data, transaction data, customisation which are set in R/3 only. It works based on R/3 settings and R/3 SAP standards. If any customisation is required, the same can be done in R/3 followed by ciffing to APO, then the same can be achieved.

Hi

You can use MRP area sloc for this purpose. Create MRP area Sloc in ECC and Ciff it to APO which are treated as individual locations in APO. Using this locations for planning you can create STR's . Before this you have to create the Transportation lanes in APO b/w this locations. Also you have to do some configuration before you start planning. Use the transaction /n/sapapo/mrpacust01(if you set this indicator, you can use stock transport requisitions for stock transfers that involve storage location MRP areas)
