Hi Experts
Please give me a some idea on CO versions.
How does it affect Project?

Hi,
You can use CO Versions to save several different cost and revenue plans for one object, and to evaluate those plans separately or compare with each other. For specific purposes CO Versions can be used for cost forecasts or for progress analysis.

Hello,
In addition to above you can also copy the planned cost from one version to other using tcodes like CJ9FS mentioning the template and target version, and use the next version to analyse or plan further.
You can change planned values manually in every version - the costed values are retained. Normally Preliminary costing (e.g. ECP) is done using CO version otherthan 0 (let's say 1 or 2) and then detailed cost planning (Network costing) is done in Co version 0.
Thanks

hi..
CO versions are used to have different plan data (planned costs, planned SKF values) for projects..
for example you have several versions of budget (example each month you want come up with new budget) then you use the versions in order to store your different versions of plan costs..
the main effect of it is for reporting purposes but you can link it for example to progress analysis..
