Compatibility of SAP B1 2007 B with SQL 2000

Hi All,

While installing SAP B1 2007 B , I am facing that during SERVER installation, the Server DropDown shows by default MSSQL_2005. But on my suystem I have SQL 2000. In this case the dropdown is showing nothing.

Is it possible to have MSSQL 2000 for SAP B1 2007 B or MSSQL_2005 is mandatory ?

MS SQL SERVER 2005 WINDOWS SERVER 2003/IA32 32BIT 21.04.2008

MS SQL SERVER 2005/X86_64 WINDOWS SERVER 2003/X64 64BIT 21.04.2008

Thanks for your timely support.

I have XP on my system. If i will install SQL 2005. Will 2007 B work on my system or Windows server is essential for it?

You can't able to install MS SQL 2005 on XP. You required Windows Server edition standard or enterprise both will work.

Check the product availability matrix if the MSSQL 2000 is not on the list then is not supported.
