Hi All,

I'm installing N4S testdrive using redhat linux 5

when i open http://localhost:8001/ it gave me error message:

503 Service not available

Error: -6

Version: 7000

Component: J2EE Server

and http://localhost:8100/ gave me error message:

Not found

The following error occured:

MsSGetNextLogon: no server found which provides service HTTP (msxxserv_mt.c [18576])

SAP message server ,release 700 (N4S)

java -version under user n4sadm gave me the following message:

startsap_DVEBMGS01 contain error, I don;t think that's the issue, but if it is the issue any hints on how to get rid of that error would be appreciated:

Did you try starting the J2EE using jcmon?

What is the error in dev_jcontrol or dev_server0?

Hello,

Detail: Cannot reach external Application Server on localhost:50100

Is the java running?

Check with the command jcmon for java processes.

profile dir..> jcmon pf=<pflname>

Hai,

Post the contents of dev_sapstart, also check SAPSYSTEMNAME in instance profile, it should point to your SID.

SAPSYSTEMNAME in the instance profile is set to N4S

I could not find dev_sapstart, I did found startdb.log DVEBMGS01.log startsap_.log startsap_SCS00.log

below is the content of those log except SCS00 since ABAP stack is up and running without any issue. I can login to N4S and do some coding there.
