Update termination while processing output messages

Hello,

In VA02, when we change the output time from 1 (Send with periodically scheduled job) ) to 4 (Send immediately when saving the application), the system gives Update termination with below error details.

Function Module - RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE

Report - LSYDBU27

Error message - 00 671: ABAP/4 processor: POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT

But if we do not change the time from 1 to 4 & process the output by running program RSNAST00, then there is no problem.

I found OSS note 147577 to address this problem but after applying the note in sandbox, the error continued to appear.

Can anyone help on how to eliminate this error?

At Present, All i can suggest, to sit with ABAPer and analyse the Update Termination error with -

T. Code: SM13/ 14
