IBASE Generation Successful but Unable to select in Notif_Create.

Hello Experts,.

I've a issue with IBASE Generation. In t-code solution_manager, for a specific solution i did "Initial Data Transfer for IBASE" under Edit. The system displayed the message as "IBASE Generated Successfully". But when i go to t-code "Notif_create" to create a support desk message, i can't select the system/IBASE value, it displays a warning message "No Authorisation". I did check SU53 to identify any missing authorisation issue. The SU53 says "The last authorisation Check was Succesful".

I'm unable to get the solution for this error.

Request you to please provide me your expert suggestion to resolve this issue.

Hi,

Did you check the Ibase generated using change Installed Base screen (IB52). Also check are you having the role SAP_CRM_IBASE

In IB52, when i do the F4 in Installed Base field, i get one value as below

External ID for IBase = SOL_MAN_DATA_REP

IBase Cat. = 01

Installed Base = 1

Description of IBase = Solution Manager Installation.

What to do next.

I assigned the user in solman with the role SAP_CRM_IBASE and nothing seems to work.

I created a BP user from DSWP and it created only the Business Partner (General), then i extend the created BP with the Employee details. In the General Tab>Identification, the External BP number is SL1 100 SOLOMONA00, and the identification number is maintained as " SID InstallationNo Client ReporterUserID".

Let me repeat, when i generate the IBase in DSWP; the system generate a green message stating the IBase is generated successfully. But, when i choose the values in the IBase in Notif_create, the system generates a yellow message which says "no authorisation".

Honestly, this is very funny as SU53 says that there are no missing authorisaion objects.

May I request Naveen and Prakhar to please share your contact number so that we can have a quick chat to close this important issue.

Press Enter, in the new screen you should see the tree structure in the left hand side and description in the right side.

If so then it shows IBase components are created.

I hope you have completed all the post installation activites from IMG guide.

Pls check this,

In the BP transaction choose the BP of the reporter and go to change mode

choose the role as employee.

In the identification tab......

Maintain the entries as

Sysid installation_no client userid

This validates that reporter can report the message for the current ibase.

Usually this is created from DSWP and create business partner option.
