Message KI581

Hello,

We have one specific project in our system that gives the following error when ever I try to add an activity. Message KI581: You are not authorized to change Maintain settlement rule in CO area. I do not have this problem with any other project in the system. Can anyone help with is please?

check authorisation object K_VRGNG for your project and your own

basically when you get the error message type /nsu53 in the command box and give it to your authorisation consultant

Thank you, I'm having our security team check into the object.

Can anyone shed any light on how this could have happened? This is the only project among thousands of projects that has this issue.

if I remember correctly this could be an earlier version of sap probably 3.1 that had this problem

maybe you upgraded an old project and somehow ended up with it

really difficult to tell unless i see the system
