Hi All,

In our XI development server the objects(IR & ID) are not getting activated.

ResourceException in method ConnectionFactoryImpl.getConnection():
com.sap.engine.services.dbpool.exceptions.BaseResourceException: SQLException
thrown by the physical connection: com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLException:
Error while accessing secure store:
File "\\hostname\sapmnt\XID\SYS\global\security\data\SecStore.properties"
does not exist although it should..

I searched in forum and there is no good threads.

Can anyone figure out what went wrong and how to reslove this ?

Thanks

Sunil.

Hi,

ask your basis guys to check the J2EE log to see what error is occuring..........

ask your basis guys to restart your XI server completely.....then again ask your basis guys to check the startup log to see if there is any error in it................if there is no error in it, then again try to activate your IR and ID objects..........

Thanks Rajeev,

For your prompt reply. Mean time i will tell my basis guy to look into this.

Hi,

not sure why this happened........but a guess that some process in your XI system is consuming too much resources because of which you were not able to activate your IR and ID objects.

Hi All,

The issue is solved.

This was a disk space problem.

As per the post installation steps of the installation some standard BACKGROUND JOBS needs to be scheduled (SM36).

Sujnil.

Hi Sunil

Have you tried to examine whether the file "SecStore.properties" actually exists or not? As far as I remember. The J2EE credentials is stored in this file. It is managed by the Config Tool, so try have a look at it.

Also try to examine if the database password been changed recently

Best regards,

Chris

Check if the disk run out of space..!! Stop any unused adapters just polling. See if the system is able to connect to the database from a basis point of view.
