Hi Guys,

When I try to delete a user I receive the message: "User <login> must not be deleted"

Somebody knows why ? or .. should I block the user only ? or force a deletion ?

Thanks for your advice guys !

Hi

Please read this ->

What happens if I delete the user who has created the shopping cart ?

<u>Answer -> If the user is deleted, and the shoping cart exists in the application, then the shooping cart cannot be displayed. If you want to view/ process those shopping carts, then you have to create a dummy user and retrieve the document. In CRMD_PARTNER table, the old user GUID should be replaced with the new user GUID.</u>

Diego,

if you try to delete a user from the web BBPMAININT, this is normal: a user that has already created a SC is linked to this document via its BP.

So you can not delete it, otherwise its douments become incoherent.

Hi guys,

I tried to delete it with BBPMAININT.

So, according to your comments: What should I do when somebody left the company ?

- Should I blocked the user ?

- Should I delete the position in PPOMA_BBP ?

Thanks for your advice

Hi Diego,

1. If its a EBP usr (not a vendor) you should use BBPUSERMAINT to delete a user.

2. First you should first complete all the open document for the user and then you can delete the user.

Hello Prashant,

What do you mean by "you should first complete all the open document for the user and then you can delete the user" ?

I checked the shopping carts created by the user, and all of them are approved or rejected. But I don't understand what do you mean by "complete" ?

I appreciate your help !

Best regards.

Hi Diego

It means all 'Confirmations' and 'Invoices' have been entered for the shopping carts.

Hi Ramki,

Ups.. but what if I don't care about those documents ? I mean, I don't care about the pending PO's, nor confirmations or invoices.

Should I delete the SC items from the purchaser work pool ?

Thanks for your help Ramki

Hi Diego

Normally, the SC user shall process the rest of the documents (COnf, Invoices). Also, if you have workflows activated, then some of the workflows may be routed to the requester. If the system cannot find this user, you will have problems.

I would suggest you the following (least problematic approaches):

-- Logon as tthis user and Define a substitute for the workflows of this user

-- Lock the user

-- Delete the user once all documents are closed.
