Adding object links to Document types

Former Member

I tried adding the following object links to a document type

1. STKO_DOC BOM header 258

2. STPO BOM 266

3. STPO_DPC BOM item 259

After adding when i create a DIR against this doc type, the object link tab for all these above object links are greyedout. Its not accepting any user input for these object links. Can anybody suggest me a solution?

Hi

Certain objects can only be added form Object side and not from DMS side..

STKO_DOC is one of them..

Please refer sap notes 1123223

Hi bhupendra,

I can only confirm that the mentioned object link can only be maintained from object side which means form the suitable object transaction. In CV02N (document side) there cannot be added links for these objects.

This is due to technical restrictions and cannot be changed in order to avoid inconsistencies.

Hi,

you can add points to a post with the radio buttons on the left hand side at each post. On the left side of a reply you can see the following information:

Beside the last three lines there is a radio button and this needs to be flag to provide points.

Best regards,

Christoph

P.S.: You don't need to write 'Sir' here in the DMS forum.

Hi Aby

I also didn't get the question and answer you have given.

Can you please ellaborate. I pressed F1 in Create Document in Define Object Link.

But I am not able to understand the Explanation given and example given.

Generally F1 Help is always complicated and Difficult to understand.

With Regards
