Export Database Error

Hi Basis Experts

Iam trying to install SAP ECC 6.0 SR2. I have come across a weird error " While iam giving the path of the export 1 the system accepts without any error but when i give the path for export 5 its giving an error " the specified path is invalid" then when is specify the paths for 2,3,4 the same error pops up.

Iam not facing this issue in ECC 6.0 SR1

Please suggest whether this is an Dump Problem

Have you extracted all 5 export DVD into individual directory ?

If not please extract into individual and give lable to each export dvd.

Everything is intact. I just copied the DVD's to my Hard Drive

Thats true you copied DVD but howz extraction was done ?

To be frank i just got the dump and started installation..Iam really not aware of the extraction method.

Please suggest me some steps to come over this

Can you tell me list of files and directory after dumping dvd into your computer.

After uncheking the "Check Location" wont the system throw an error during loading database.

Not sure how your subject is related to your problem (should be import - not export)...

Are all the LABEL.ASC files present? or is there just one? Did you give the subdirectories EXP1 - EXP5?

What are the last lines of sapinst_dev.log when this error occurs?

Hi All

I have chosen Unicode and all the directory paths were with spaces For Ex: "E:\SAP ECC\Export 1"..Instead of E:\SAP_ECC\EXPORT_1.

Hi, Pls check label.asc in each export to verify the exports
