translation of view

how can i translate the UIelements on the view example buttons lables and tooltip of buttons

Hi Shaik,

You should explain your requirement in a detailed manner. Do you want to translate the text of UI elements like buttons and all. For that you should use OTR concept.

hello arjun,

i have created the ort text but when i am going to translate the view i dont find WDYV object type

rather i can find WDYA WDYN .

Hi,

While creating the OTR use SOTR_EDIT transaction... here while saving it will ask you for object type...

there give object type as WDYN....

i have tried but i dont find the entry in tadir table

but i can see the enrt in my transport reqest.

Hi,

Use OTR_EDIT t-code to create a new otr text and use the alias name of this otr text in your UI element properties.

Hi Shaik,

if you want to transalate the languages, you have to use concept of OTR....

create a copy of view will solve the issue.
