BID Invitation N-Step Approval Workflow

Hello Gurus

We have implemented BID Invitation N-Step Approval Workflow in our system.

We need the subsequent approver to change the bid, provide there approval notes in bid document before they approve it.

Change authorisation is there witho approvers but system won't allow to approve a Bid Invitation that is being changed by the approver during workflow process.

Please suggest accordingly.

Please state the error thrown by the system when you try to approve a Bid Invitation that is being changed by the approver during workflow process.

This would help in identifying the problem and providing a suitable solution.

When a approver does a chage i.e, add a comment or changes any data in Bid & tries to approve a error is generated.

Error is "Approval not allowed due to changes in document".

Please suggest.

Hi Soumik,

Please check from where is this error message being called. It might be in some BADI implementation which is called when ever you change / save a Bid.

See if you can deactivate / change this implementation and able to approve the Bid when changes are made to it.
