Struck in SPDD phase while patch importing

Hi,

While importing basis patches, struck at RUN_SPDD phase.

I cant understand what is this? will anybody explain that

Hi,

If you have modified SAP objects, you must adjust these objects when you import them. Transaction SPDD adjusts Dictionary objects

If the patch upgrade is on a live system where users have customized and developers have created/modified programs, then you should do the modification adjustment. If its a fresh installation without any work done, you can ignore the modification adjustment.
