Hi,

rename you hostname to n4shost (/etc/hosts). If this doesn't help, do also a reinstallation of the test drive system.

Is your database running?

as "ns4adm":

Hi Marcus

Thanks for the reply,

But my database is not up and running.

This is the result of the execution of line

n4shost:n4sadm 9> dbmcli -U c db_state

Error! XUser not found!

Thanks

Sunil

Is this an ABAP or Java testdrive?

What do you get when you execute

dbmcli -U c_J2EE db_state

Hi Markus

This is a SAP NetWeaver2004s ABAP and J2EE 7.0 Application Server, Web Dynpro ABAP and Java, SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe.

Titled as

SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) - Trial Version on Linux

from https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/nw-downloads

n4shost:n4sadm 13> dbmcli -U c_J2EE db_state

Error! Connection failed to node n4shost for database N4S: cannot connect to server socket

My apologies for typing you name wrong in my previous reply.

Regards

Sunil

Something is wrong with your system. Check that the firewall is disabled.

Fedora is not an official supported Linux distribution so in case of problems you may be on your own...
