I would like to know more in detail about GUI scripting,its functions,uses and events.

Hii Venky,
If you're looking to learn about scripting for SAP GUI or Web GUI, I would recommend trying GuiXT. It's an integrated solution inside SAP GUI in making interface changes without touching ABAP or Java. Their webiste has more information with regard to GuiXT training, webinars, and upcoming events where you can meet with their representatives from the company that invented GuiXT--Synactive, Inc.
