Error in activating profile parameter login/create_sso2_ticket =2

hai all ,

i am facing problem in RZ10,

i have created the param login/create_sso2_ticket =2 in the instacnce profile .

But while activating it , the following errors been thrown.

Hi,

Well I guess you can actually ignore these errors and still activate your instance profile. In case you want to choose otherwise; I would suggest to go for actual value because the system might have been running fine even on these values in the past.

What is the different between SAP proposal Act value

which actual value can i select in the given below

Hello Arun,

There are profile paramter values which are recommended by SAP. Your actual values may differ based on your system requirements. Frankly these errors or warnings can be ignored at times and the profile can still be activated. In case you want to follow the other route well you can do it both ways. If you think the actual values are what you need then go for actual values otherwise go for SAP values. But I would not tamper with actual values since they might have been changed from SAP recommended ones due to some past requirement..

To add further in our case the standard value for ipc/shm_psize_10 was 16880000 but it was changed by one of our adminsitrators to 420000000 due to some requirement couple of years back.

I would suggest tampering withy memory parameters simply because you are changing something for SSO !
