Tracing material master changes

Hello,

I am trying to log changes made to material master - classification tab.

We dont want to use CDHDR to track changes made to Classification data.

Because we are reluctant to run the report RCCLUKA2 because of various related issues.

Has someone dealt with same kind of scenario before? May be an user exit MGA0000x?

Is it possible to record changes made to classificaiton tab and store it a table and can be extracted later on....

Any ideas will be appreciated.

TCode MM04 will display all changes made for a particular material

Hi Lakshmipathi,

In MM04 we can only see the changes for a particular materilal.

Actually we need a report everyday for all the materials which were changed.

In CDHDR table with object MATERIAL, we are able to see all the materials which were chaned except for Classification tab data.

For that we have to run the report which we dont want to do because of some issues.

Is it possible with user exit?

Dear Madhav

You can check in tables like MSTA, AENR, AENV where the changes made in material master are recorded

Thanks Lakshmipathi, I am using MSKA table as you said, we dont need the details of the changes made, we just need the list of changed materials , I checked for classifcaiton tab, value is C , its working.
