Hi

Note Availability check always is based on 2 important major parameters

1.Checking rule (Transaction based like sale order ,delivery etc pre defined in SAP) and

2. Checking group which we maintain in MMR in sales general plant data and mrp data

The combination of these two form the scope of check which will control the the entire availability check settings

T code OVZ9 here you will see what are all the factors the system should consider during Availability check it is based on three major things that is 1.physical stocks at hand 2. inward movement( like your PO,PR etc) 3.outward movement(sales reservations stocks stocks reserved for previous sales orders)

When you put sales order system takes the combination Checking rule 01 that is sales order pre defined SAP standard and that particular materials Checking group which is available in general plant data in MMR and with this combination it checks in the background what all it needs to consider before giving schedule lines in the controls given in OVZ9
