Error in IMPORT_PROPER while applying SAP_APPL 12 SP in ECC 6

Hi All,

I am applying Support pack12 of SAP_APPL (SAPKH60012) in my ECC 6.0. The system is on linux with oracle 10.2 G.

the patch implementation is stopping at IMPORT_PROPER (Error_Stop). I have checked TP and everything is running fine. I am pasting below the action log of the same. Please let me know what could be the problem. Also let me know if required anything else.

The issue was with Block courruption in data files.

Hi,

This information is not enough to analyse the problem, IMPORT_PROPER is just a phase got terminated.

Get some logs from SAP or OS Level

SAP Level --> SPAM tcode --> Import Logs

OS Level --> Goto folder usr\sap\trans\log check for SLOG, ULOG and also for latest timestamp file got updated.

Paste the contents of these files, only this log files will have error information.

Hi,

I went through SLOG and ALOG but it was too long and nothing appropriate is there. Find below the P090115.SID Log. It is saying to activate two shadow name tabs. but i didn't know how.

There is "some" SQL error - unfortunately the log doesn´t tell enough.

Please use

SPAM - Goto - Import Logs - Queue

drill up there the red logfile to the actual error.

Also check SM21.

Hello Bhanu,

It is unable to activate nametab " WVERW_045G"

It may not activate because of several reasons. The detailed error message you can get while you try to actiate your self or drill down to logs futhur levels.

common reason is Table space full. or some data elements are inactive / dont exist.

Try to activate this nametab your self and see the log.

HI Bhanu,

this informaiton is not sufficient to help you. Paste complete log. Since you got this error during move nametabs it might be due to activation of some object which can be figured out in your log.
