Hi all,

what is diffrence between customer rebate , material rebate , group rebate??????

if customer rebate is specific to customer then why we have to enter settlement material ????

in material rebate also we assign material to customer . then what is difference???????

Pl give example so that i could know which rebate to apply at which schenario......

Difference between Customer Rebate , Material Rebate & Group Rebate

Customer Rebate --- If you maintain customer rebate then only that customer will be getting that additional discount

NOTE : Now in customer rebate we have to maintain a settlement material because when that rebate is getting settled we have to settle with that material only

Material Rebate --- If you maintain Material rebate then it will be applicable to all customers whoever buy that material

NOTE : In material rebate we have to assign a material to a customer because , we are telling that if the customer buys that material then he will be applicable for that rebate

Group Rebate --- A Group Rebate is maintained for a group of customers who fall under one group

Hi

can we create rebate agreement for Material group. My client having more than 1000 material in One material group,so they are not accepting to create rebate agreement for individual material ,they want agreement should created for material group and it will applicable for all material which falls under particular group.

How to do it??

In customer rebate the rebate is %wise. In conditions no material is required.Amount in accruals are added on the basis of %

In Material Rebate the rebate condition is stored on the basis of Sales Area, Material...

Amount in accruals are added on the basis of at the rate material is ordered multiplied by qty.

The difference is in keys on which you can create rebate condition records.

Settlement material is the material used to generate rebate credit memo request. You can use dummy material for this purpose i.e. with name 'Rebate credited'. You just need a material to create CMR.

As described above. In material rebate the rebate is granted if customer buys specific materials and in customer rebate the rebate is granted for the customer for any materials he buys.

Hi,

Customer rebate is customer specific only.

material rebate is with particular material which you maitain condition records for rebate agreements.

Rebate has to settled so we need a material.either standard or dummy material so that credit memo and rebate settlement has to settled.
