i am wriitng output to a log file using File Reciever .

I dont the file to be wriiten in an html format

i want it to be plain text like a log file should be

What should be the setting in file adapater

also kindly send me some useful link on file adapater

Hi Amit,

XI understands only XML and creates messages in XML format. So, if you want to create a Text file instead of the normal XML file, then Content Conversion had to be perfromed in your receiver file adapter.

Hi,

If you want in particular format for e.g some lines after each log (or etc formating), then you can do these formating in the Mapping and then you can do plain content conversion like <node>.fieldSeparator = 'nl'.

<node>.endSeparator = 'nl'.

So it will be customized for you..as per the requirement
