Integration Repository Backup/Export

Hi Experts,

A couple of questions:

1 - Is it possible to make a full backup of the Integration Repository?

2 - What does a Software Component Version (SCV) export contain? Does it include every object of the SCV? (XSLT, Java mappings etc.). If I do a full export of a SCV and I delete that SCV from the repository... then I import the corresponding .tpz file... will I get the exact same SCV in place?

Many thanks,

Brodo

hi Bordo,

It is possible to take the backup for the mapping.

The process is:--

1. Open ur mapping and put he cursur on Description.

2.. Press ShiftCtrl0.

3. a new pop up window will open.

4. Using which you can export the complete mapping and later you can import that in other scenario.

Thanks,

Thanks Jaideep,

I know that mappings can be saved individually but since I have tens of them in each software component I would like to take a single full copy. And I have also other objects in there, not just mappings.

Problem is that I don't know if an "Export" will include everything...

Thanks,

Brodo

Hi,

You can export the SWCV objects and it can be saved as .tpz format.

After that you can import that objects you will get all the objects into the Integration Repository.

You can have full backup in the form of tpz file. Just export your SWCV and it will include all objects under that particular SWCV.

Thanks!
