J2EE Restart pre-requisities

Hi Experts,

Can any body tell me what are all the steps we need to follow to Restart the J2EE engine.

And what are all the Steps need to take before restarting the J2EE engine

we are using PI 7.0 Server on SP12

To restart the j2ee,just make sure that your current transactions are not impacted i.e. the messages are not lost and can be rescheduled.

You can plan a restart when the number of transactions are very less and It is better to stop all the applications related to XI before restarting.

This all depends upon your requirement.

Hi Sankar

your engine must be of 6.40 version. Well, on 6.40 you should have the SAP Management Console (SAP MMC) that you can open and start the engine from. TO open it, go to Start -> Programs -> SAP Management Console. Inside, locate your SAP System, right-click on it and select Start
