BOM transfer function for Multi Level BOM

Hi,

How to do BOM Transfer function for Multi level BOM?

Say I have a material BOM and the items in it are also BOM with succeeding components.

is it possible that when i do BOM transfer, only the items in the bottom level will be picked up?

Hi,

During BOM transfer thru CN33 , in selection parameter you have to tick '' Multilevel''.

In addition to that you nned to select Preliminary requirement check box also....

other wise

If you do not select this indicator and you have selected the indictor Multi-level for BOM-explosion then there is a risk that requirements are generated by both the network and material requirements planning - producing excess requirements.
