Not starting the portal in Developer Workplace 7.0

I'm researching ways to reduce the start time of the local J2EE engine installed with NetWeaver Developer Workplace 7.0 (NW04s). Its currently taking 20 minutes. I don't need to run a portal on my PC so I changed the startup mode of the J2EE services "com.portal.pcd.gl" and "com.sap.portal.prt.sapj2ee" to manual. When I start the J2EE engine however, the com.sap.portal.prt.sapj2ee service still starts. Does anyone know how to configure the portal to NOT start with the J2EE engine? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you won't to use portal, maybe you can undeploy it using SDM, undeploy tab, you need to undeploy EPBC component.

After that, restart all instance and see what happen, don't worry, you will be able to deploy this component if you decide to use it in the future.
