F1 Help window is empty

hi experts,

I have SAPGUI 640 with patch 14 applied running on Windows Vista with IE7.

The problem is that when i press F1 in SAP to get help the window is empty.

I search on internet and forum about this problem and i found that sap note 857216 would solve this problem.

But it didnt't help me.

Please, can anyone help me? What can i do to display F1 help in performace assistant.??

If i choose to display help in modal dialog it's working... but when i'm in t-code SE80 and if i press F1 on a statement it displays only in performance assistant and of course it's empty.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I think it is problem with IE7.0 version. Try to uninstall it and install IE6. follow the advise in the Knowledge Base articles from Microsoft referenced below. They contain certain registry changes, which have to be performed on every frontend / server, the Microsoft Security Bulletin should be applied. 'How to do it' is described in the article 896054 of the Microsoft knowledge base:

Meanwhile, if someone had the same problem (Vista,IE7) , please post the steps to solve this annoying problem.
