Cash Discount

Hello all,

the cash discount field on the MM s.org 1, can someone give me more details on it, what it is for and what is the detail use of it.

Dear Dilip,

Cash discount at material master is associated with the Cash Discount condition type SKTO/SKTV defined in the pricing procedure.

This cash discount check box at materia master and the payment terms maintained at he customer master in Billing tab under sales helps to determine the cash discount in the Sales Order

If you check the cash discount at material master the cash discount condition type will get reflected in your pricing procedure at sale order but will not carry any value since the value will be determined by the payment terms maintained at the customer e.g. payment term 0002 says within 14 days 3% cash discount.
