Hello friends,

we want to connect SRM with Enterprise Portal.

For this we have two different kind of Users.

One User for adimistration ( myUser )

One User for using the System ( Reif )

"_MyUser" has following roles:_

in SRM:

u2022 SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER

u2022 SAP_J2EE_ADMIN

u2022 Role for S_RFCACL

in Portal:

u2022 Purchaser Administrator

User u201CReifu201D has following roles:

in SRM:

u2022 SAP_BBP_STAL_EMPLOYEE

u2022 SAP_BBP_STAL_MANAGER

in Portal:

u2022 Operational Purchaser (ERP/SRM)

u2022 Manager

u2022 And other

Now we get following error messages in portal

if "MyUser" login:

ACCESS.ERROR: Authorization check for caller assignment to J2EE resource .

ACCESS.ERROR: Authorization check for caller assignment to J2EE resource .

ACCESS.ERROR: Authorization check for caller assignment to J2EE resource .

ACCESS.ERROR: Authorization check for caller assignment to J2EE resource .

Exception ID:12:50_14/01/09_0046_423218150

We find the number 423218150 in the System Information of the portal.

It should be an Instance JC42; with server0 with cluster 423218150

But I don´t know what this meansu2026.

Content pass of Application Integrator failed.

By the way we allready consider the SAP Note 791649 "User unable to logon by ticket"; but this doesn´t help us.

So - I hope that someone could help us out.

Hi Masa,

I think we didn´t have configure UME setup. This is all new to us...

So - I download the Configuration Zip file from UME and found two excel sheets with many parameters.

1. sheet is an Overview for UME Properties

2. sheet is an Overview for Configuration

I search in the UME Properties the parameter "ume.r3.connection..user" and found

"ume.r3.connection.001.user".

The global value for this parameter is set on "emty"

Should we maintain this parameter, because of following instructions in marketplace

"Configuring SNC between the UME and an ABAP based System"?!

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/de/80/3867af1f644ebe9f06ebc6f96eae70/frameset.htm

Further on I found following item - that I don´t understand

Property: ume.r3.connection.001.passwd

Global Value: (Empty)

Custom? false

Persistent Status: (Identical to global)

Runtime Status: (Identical to global)

Remarks: There is an instance specific value in instance ID423218150, but UME uses the global values only in NW04s and ignores all instance specific values.

Could you explain me this item? Do we have to add/ change here something - because the Global Value is set on ( Empty ). And where can I find the "specific value"?!

This remark I found in other parameters like:

com.sap.security.core.umap.key

ume.ldap.access.additional_password.1

ume.ldap.access.additional_password.2

ume.ldap.access.additional_password.3

ume.ldap.access.additional_password.4

ume.ldap.access.additional_password.5

ume.ldap.access.password

ume.r3.connection.002.passwd

ume.r3.connection.003.passwd

ume.r3.connection.master.client

ume.r3.connection.master.passwd

ume.superadmin.password

By the way we want to connect an ABAP based System to Portal ( dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml )

Would be glad to hear from you again

Cheers

J.F.

Hi,

Have you done the system connection setup between Portal and SRM?

What is your UME setup? It is ABAP data source or LDAP?

Regards,

Masa
