I had a similar problem yesterday...I had done a whole lots of stuff, courtesy this forum, before i stumbled on this thread. I couldn't believe all i needed to do was just to increase the virtual memory on my system,...am running my sap box in a VM,...so i added more 'physical' memory in my VM settings...and boom, it worked...disp+work process turned green.

Shared Memory problem. How much is the memory on system you did your installation. Try to reboot

set PHYS_MEMSIZE to 512 to start out with and see if this helps.

Hi Veera,

1. Have you set paging size? check whether its system managed or used defined. If it's system managed , set a custom value.....

2. check loop back adapter or ip address of your network card (if you set manually or not)

try to past disp_wp trace files as well.

Karthik

check SAP note 88416.

you ran out of memory. what value was chosen for PHYS_MEMSIZE ?

the "network" errors do not cause your problems and you can ignore them.
