Is there a way to automate the installation of SAP through a script or program on windows? I'm new to SAP as a basis admin. I'd like to be able to install the application through a script or program from the command line instead of having to point an click. For instance, I'd like to be able to call a script or program to install ECC from start to finish, installing sqlserver, running sapinst, through the applying of service packs and patches. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks,
Dan
Hai,
Since Installing SAP needs user interaction i.e., Setting passwords, choosing SID, choosing the Media, showing the path for Installation, etc., It is not possible to do Installations without user Interaction.
