ume.version.sapj2eeengine is 630 for version 6.40?

I was looking through the properties of the UME Provider in the Visual Administrator and noticed that ume.version.sapj2eeengine has a value of 630. I have 6.40 SP15 installed. Why wouldn't this value be 640? Or was the UME not changed at all between 6.30 and 6.40?

I believe,

You'll find other places where 630 is written.

This is not a bug.

Actualy both of the releases 6.30 and and 6.40 are pointing to one and the same versioning at SAP.

So if you tell 6.30 SP14 for SAP this will mean 6.40 SP14

and viceversa.

I know that the versioning is not really clear. But it's getting better

The idea of 6.40 was allignment release: ABAP and java stacks.

Just 6.30 ABAP was not officially released.

Thanks for clearing that up. I only started using NetWeaver at 6.40 so am not that familiar with the version history.
