SDM stopped with error code 4???

At first i the error was jlaunch was missing

so i check with 'ps' command and found that jlaunch for SDM was missing

i checked in jcmon that SDM was not running and showing error code 4

also i checked the dev_sdm file last modified on 11th jan and found following error

[Thr 772] ERROR => Can't change working directory [/local/usr/sap/JQ5/JC53/SDM/program] (rc = 2) [jlnchxxi_mt. 382]

[Thr 772] ERROR => Cannot change to working directory [/local/usr/sap/JQ5/JC53/SDM/program] (rc=-1) [jlnchxxi_mt. 728]

[Thr 1] Sun Jan 11 20:17:00 2009

[Thr 1] SigISetIgnoreAction : SIG_IGN for signal 20

[Thr 1] JLaunchCloseProgram: good bye (exitcode = -1)

also files sdm_server.err and sdm_server.out were empty

Check SAP Note 905856. The logs are located in <instance>\SDM\program\log.

seems like the engine was started using the wrong user or does not have enough authorizations....
