UNSPSC codes are used to Map material group in R/3 and product category in SRM system but how i can technically map UNSPSC codes in SRM. Can you please explain technically and what is the use finally. i studied theoritaclly but want to know Practiaclly about UNSPSC.
After Defining a Standard Schema type UNSPSC in in Catalog Management-->Define Standard Schema,
how we will be able to do mapping for schema.In Define assignemnt for imported schemas i have define standard schema as a UNSPSC but i am trying to know the complete process
After defining the schema as UNSPSC, go to IMG setting Master data->Content Management->Mapping for schemas->Define assignment for imported schemas. Under this setting you can define all the UNSPSC codes that you want to map.
After this, go to setting 'Define Mapping/Filter Rules for Schemas'. Here you can map the UNSPSC codes to your own product category in SRM.
