Hi All,
Is it possible to change the standard number range in the networks. if yes how?

You can use following option
SPRO-Project System-Structures-Operative Structures-Network-Settings for Networks-Maintain Network types
Select Network type- Go to bottom most option-Number range general
Click on that and try changing .

Yes you can define number ranges for Network by following path.
SPRO < Project Systems < Structures < Operative Strutures < Network < Set up number ranges for Network.

go to maintain group button
scroll down - here the unassigned network types will be there - let us say you created a new network type ZABC and want to give it a number range 900000 - 999999
select ZABC from the unassigned list by clicking once on ZABC
then select the select element button on the application tool bar
then scroll to th egroup you want the assignment to happen and tick the check box
then click on button element/group on the application tool bar
In Transaction CO82,
Select Maintain Groups.
scroll to Not assigned,
there you will see your Network Profile created, which is not assigned.
Click on Network profile and click on Select Element.
Then select the group for e.g Network.
and Save.
IF you want to check specifice number range assigned to the group,
then select the group and click on maintain.
Here you can see the existing Number range and also can change them and Save.
