Web Service Model not visible in Model drop down list?

Hi ,

I am trying to create one Web Service model but the Model Drop down is not showing the Web Service Model and it is only displaying the Adaptive RFC and Java bean model .

Can any help why and how to get web create Web Srevice model ?

what version of your NWDS are you using? Plz check if it is installed correctly

Hi Amit,

What I understand is that when you try to Create Model for a Web Dynpro project, the import wizard does not show Web Service Model in the list of model types.

It seems that the relevant plug-ins for the Web Service model type have not been loaded properly.

Check if there is some error entry in the log file available under metadata folder of your workspace.

If that is so, delete the metadata folder (keep a backup just in case) and re-start NWDS.

Hi nitin,

If i just copy another .metadata folder from a working workspace will that work as I can see the plugins folder have missing folders in the current metadata folder compared to the old metadata folder ?
