Archiving and Deletion

Dear All

i am having a performance issue in our production enviornment ..after reading some notes i ran the RSXMB_SHOW_REORG_STATUS report..output of the reporta as below..

when i see the entries of table SXMSPFRAWH it shows the following numbers in table entries

the selection criteria:

390.633

what should i do to overcome the situation+ how do i delete messages ? do i have to delete all the messages in the database or only the messages with message status 003 ( 320.107)

Furthermore if you experience problems deleting and archiving, then try read note 872388 "Troubleshooting Archiving and Deletion in XI 3.0 / PI 7.0"

Hi,

If you want to delet the messages from XI , you can scheduled the deletion jobs for XI messages using the transaction SXMB_ADM and specified the retention period for asynchronous messages.

SXMB_ADM->configuration->Define interfaces for Archiving and Deletion periods

thnx for you response..as per your instruction i ran the RSWF_XI_INSTANCES_SHOW report and following are the out put..

can you interpret this report and could you tell me whch messages should i archived/delete..
