Installation error during "Start instance" step

Hi All,

I am trying to install the PI usage type using NetWeaver 7.0 SR3 installer. I select the AS Java, AS ABAP and PI compoenents during installation.

During installation, I get an error that the ABAP process could did not start after 10:30 minutes. The log browser shows me these towards the end.

On this same host, I have 2 other instances (unrelated and stopped during this installation), one instance having SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3, and another having a decentral adapter engine.

Any ideas where to look for root cause of this issue? Or any suggestions?

When you get such error during this phase, start the sap system through command line - it will fix the issue. I faced this issue and got it resolved by starting sap system through command line.
