EBP 3.5: only 7 positions in SC displayed

hi,

we are running srm 2.0 with ebp 3.5. We are facing a strange beghaviour. when creating a shopping cart, only (maximum) 7 positions/ table-rows are displayed on one page - the rest gets transferred to a second page (under the table with the SC items navigational links appear).

i talked to others, who also run ebp 3.5. they don't have this behaviour - can somebody tell, where i can change this? we rather want a scrollbar, and all items on one page - at least more than 7.

regards, matthias

Hi Matthias,

What is your SP level ?

A possibility is that for performance display issue, SAP has decided in a SP to implement the table display with the first 7 rows.

In the current release, only 10 rows are displayed.

That's why i ask you your SP level.

Did you compare SP level with systems where scroll is enable ?

Kind regards,

Yann

Hi Matthias,

I found oss note which seems to be very close to your problem.

However, it is for an older release (up to 3.0 SP7...)

Very strange...

Kind regards,

Yann

hi yann,

can u give the number of the oss note?

i also searched for "ebp 3.5 shopping cart", "ebp shopping cart", "number of rows" and thelike, but did not find any useful information concerning my "display only 7 items in SC" - problem. However I looked at the dynpro which carries the SC, and which is in my case the dynpro for template: bbppu03/99/saplbbp_sc_7500.html

I just pulled the Table Control of the SC a bit longer (in screen painter). Automatically I got 15 table rows displayed. Still I wonder if there is a solution or SP, which brings about only one page with scrollbar. I can't see any attributes for the table control, which enables scrolling.

What is strange about our misbehaviour, that we are running already SP 10, and the collegues I talked to in Walldorf were only on SP 7 (I assume she meant SP for SRM, and not PI_BASIS...)

regards, matthias

Hi Matthias,

In EBP 3.5, the standard number of lines displayed in SC item overview is 7 lines.

So you are in the standard.

Each SRM release brings its ergonomy changes:

- 7 lines in SRM 2.0 SC item overview

- 6 lines in SRM 3.0 SC item overview

- 12 lines in SRM 4.0 SC item overview

- 12 lines in SRM 5.0 SC item overview

- Hope this will be customizable in SRM 6.0 (we asked for it)

For performance & ergonomy reasons, there will never be a one page display of all items with a scroll bar (except if we can customize it in SRM 6.0, so we can put 999).

Rgds

Christophe
